When you download DaVinci Resolve it comes in a .zip that hardly does any compression on the .exe contained within which then goes on to spend minutes extracting things. The actual installer then spends several more minutes "copying new files".

Every piece of software should just be a single .zip or .tar - ideally even just the actual binary where possible - that I can extract or put anywhere I want and doesn't need installing.
