-Mini May poles - we'll be doing a second May Pole dance with the kids at our passed member's school. Rather than haul the 18' pole along, we have two 10' poles, cut from the forest behind my house and mounted in Christmas tree stands, topped with ribbon wheels.

I will not be dancing - my knees are currently an issue - but here's what it looks like. I will be playing my flute instead. If you're a Syracuse native, meet me at the water tower in Thorden park Friday, May 1st at 6am. There will be dancing, a mumming play, cake, songs and the (big) May Pole!
