As I was digging through my artwork, getting ready for my first solo exhibition, I found a couple of paintings I did at 12 years old... My Mom hired my 7th grade art teacher, Mr. Joliffe, to give me private lessons and help train my fine motor skills to work around the birth defect in my right hand.
