This project consists of: (1) a global 'factual' reanalysis which only assimilates pressure observations and, (2) a 'counterfactual' reanalysis, made by changing the SSTs & sea ice and assimilating the same pressure observations, so representing the same weather patterns in warmer or cooler climates
