5MIINUST: 10 YEARS An advertising copywriter, a rapper-turned-landscaper, a waiter, and an accountant went to Võsu. At first, it sounded almost like a joke, but ten years later, 5MIINUST is one of the most prominent pop culture phenomena in Estonia over the past decade. The exhibition celebrating the band’s tenth anniversary was created in collaboration with curator Carol Soovik. The exhibition traces 5MIINUST’s journey to date through objects and memories that don’t usually make it onto the stage or into the public eye. On display are previously unpublished photos from the band members’ private collections, personal items, stage costumes, and even relatively random objects whose origins are no longer precisely remembered. Visitors can also see the band’s beloved pearl-blue Volkswagen Multivan, which transported them for years from Midsummer bonfires to Christmas parties. Side by side are the things everyone knows about 5MIINUST and the things that, until now, have been seen mainly by those closest to the band. The exhibition is open at ERM from July 14 to August 9. Collaborating with Puuluup Korea: It's great that they finally accepted our invitation - it was just another one of those invitations to poke someone to do music with, you know. And the songs just kept pouring out, we needed to put the brakes on at some point. And musically it fit together really well, because we already had that drive, that energy, but Puuluup had this huge sense of melody, and such a distinctively sounding instrument too, right. They turned out to be our guardian angels in that sense too - it was pure luck, a gift from somewhere, that everything turned out so well. I do think it was a very, very fortunate turn of events for us. Kohver: Meeting Puuluup was already during Pavel's [Gameboy Tetris] time, Pavel also did the first concert together with Puuluup, and he was always late to rehearsals too, which made the project a bit complicated. Pavel left, and then we were like, what do we do now, and then we thought that since spending time with Puuluup was just so nice, why don't we try making something with them - maybe we'll get a song out of it, since we'd already done some concerts together. And then at our first meeting, where we started writing songs, the first thing that came out was the drugs song. The second song was Kaubanduses, and I think those two songs are the coolest songs we made with Puuluup. 💙 Vanilla Ninja takes the stage in the Eurovision semifinal today! 🎸 In 2025, a total of 2,058 electric guitars were imported into Estonia for a total of 781,300 euros. On average, each imported electric guitar cost 380 euros, and they were imported to Estonia from 18 countries. The largest number of electric guitars came to Estonia from Germany — 1,356 units at an average price of 396 euros per guitar. 🎸 At the same time, 113 electric guitars with a total value of 39,300 euros were exported from Estonia. Electric guitars were exported from Estonia to 6 countries, with Kazakhstan being the main destination, accounting for 88% of all exported electric guitars. Muchas gracias, Viña del Mar! Here are 3 very happy and proud bronze medal owners. 🥉🥉🥉 To reach this point out of nearly 800 songs is actually quite unbelievable. And unbelievably awesome has been the experience of being back in Chile after 18 years. We’ve really enjoyed the warm weather and good people here, loved the fresh ceviche and that lovely festival atmosphere we’ve been able to soak in for almost two weeks. But it’s time to head back home, because we’ve actually already started preparations for the upcoming Eurovision while still here. And a lot of work awaits ahead.
