i planted this sunflower in like april, set it on the front porch, and watered it all summer. it just kept getting gradually taller and never bloomed. i brought it in a month ago, JUST before a freeze that killed everything else, and just now, overnight, it finally bloomed. here it is. good job!

three days before december is a weird time to make a flower but i also take my time doing anything i guess idk there's something very charming about watching it just keep growing until it's almost as tall as me and that's when it decided "ok this is close enough to the actual sun, nailed it"
