YouTube Videos That Could Be A Bleat: yugi has 11 turns so he draws 16 cards out of 40 ways to draw… …exodia plus 11 other cards: 35 nCr 11 = 35!/(11! 24!) …any 16 cards: 40 nCr 16 = 40!/(16! 24!) so P = 35!/(11! 24!) / (40!/(16! 24!)) = 35! 16! / (40! 11!) = 16 × … × 12 / (40 × … × 36) ≈ 0.664%

to be fair more than half of the video is people actually playing out the duel. also two minutes of it is a sponsor

you know what I don't get? Given how blatantly people cheated early on in that show why didn't Kaiba just put the fourth BEWD in his deck.

I think this is a really unfair read. The point of the video, of any of his videos, isn’t the actual result- it’s to explain the concept, the steps taken to get there, and also to entertain, for people who don’t use science and mathematics enough every day for these to be common sense

I've had more unlikely things happen in pokemon battles.

I think this comes off as sanctimonious, especially since you didn't actually include the keyword ("hypergeometric distribution") that someone would need to look up if they wanted to learn more. (That said it's not one of adef's better videos. The bit at the beginning drags pretty hard.)
