Come on beef you know you want the ADV dub cheese. We know what you like. If you unironically liked things like Dark Seed II at all you want ADV Asuka's head doesn't even explode in the Netflix dub (spoilers)
The netflix adaption is not as bad as people say and it is a bit clearer in its translation, but it lacks a lot of the soul of the original ADV dub. The original ADV dub did suffer from its own desire to be deep sometimes making dialog too ambiguous, but that was charming.
Oh hell yes, one of my favorite TV shows of all time.
The lack of Fly Me to the Moon ruins the Netflix and Blu-ray versions.

i really recommend switching off the netflix version if you can, as someone who watched the netflix version first and disliked the show until i saw a different version later
