ChatGPT conversation = ChatGPT ... I consider myself fairly knowledgeable in music theory courses from a full curriculum in college, but there are two things I often forget. Can you guess what they are first of all? That's a fun challenge. Based on what many otherwise knowledgeable musicians tend to forget or get fuzzy on from music theory courses, my guesses would be: 1. The difference between a French, German, and Italian augmented sixth chord - even theory majors often mix these up or forget the exact spellings. 2. Neapolitan chord function and voice-leading rules - it's a common one to gloss over or misapply.
