It just kept looking at me with that blank-faced helmet and pinprick eyes and I knew it was going to kill me it wasn’t a question of if but when and I was still pulling the trigger on an empty mag just click click click – when something grabbed me by the coat and yanked me down and out of my own head as its fist sailed past.
