Piss it off sufficiently and a Cassowary can and will kill you, usually by disembowelling as they have huge dagger-like claws on their inner toes. They are also fast, so you probably won't be able to run away. This means it fits very neatly into the pantheon of Australian species which are fatal to idiots.
