Justice prickled a little, as Sacrifice— as Hawke rambled on. She had always been chaotic. But she had always been one who gave her all to make things better. “So there’s the place I fought that thing. If what I’m thinking is right, the Veil would be pretty weak there. So I need Anders and you to help find where I am.” A beat. “Actually, I sort of thought the group—” the polycule, but Sacrifice didn’t put it that way— “would have stuck together. What, was I the glue keeping us all together?” The silence from Justice was the answer that Sacrifice needed, as it gave a big stress yawn. “So that’s why I need to run so far. Like… I didn’t expect to be able to go to Isabela, she’s got the seas to sail. And it’s not like I can bug Varric. Maker’s breath, he’s probably not even fuckin’ aware I’m back.” “That you have taken his friends’ identity,” Justice pointed out. Sacrifice rolled its eyes. This was one reason it loved Justice, though. That black and white thinking was charming! But even now, Sacrifice could tell that Anders had changed Justice even more.
