Yeah, I was discussing it with a friend and they pointed to the fact that people thought that the creator was pro-incest, which is sort of a silly aspersion. Overwhelmingly, I think people who enjoy incest as a kink or thematic element of erotic works think that incest is bad - and that’s also a critical element of why they find it arousing. Some mix of the aesthetics and the unhealthy dynamics of incest attracts them, but by and large I think if you were to ask them most fetishists would say that incest is often abusive and nasty and horrific for its victims and that they confine themselves to fantasy and acts with consenting partners for that very reason. In order to have an actually pro-incest position, not merely a sexual fetish for it, one would have to think that incest is a societal good, a position that hasn’t been held by many since the heyday of the Hapsburgs.
