But with no further context given, it is not clear if the conclusion of potential "mischief" that UKSC drew from this note was based on their former, or latter, interpretation of this line. This matters.

I don't know what the process is for silently changing judgement after publication, but I don't like this one bit. At *best*, this was a sloppy mistake that shouldn't have happened & potentially reveals their inner prejudices. At worst, this was a misinterpretation which led to a false conclusion.
Wow, just wow, that’s incredible. I can’t help but wonder if this was a simple typo post-judgement or if they misread it.
