This is a five-panel comic that depicts a fight between Red Hulk and Spider-Man. Each panel is diagonal, extends lengthwise across the page, is stacked onto one another, and each page has shattered particles scattered throughout. In the first panel, Spider-Man soars forward through the air. There are speed lines on the left side of the panel, and a pillar is cracked and falling forward. Spider-Man’s fists break the panel border and go into the second panel. Particles cluster around his face, fists, and the pillar. The second panel has Red Hulk and Spider-Man as black silhouettes. Red Hulk is seen from the ribs up and uses his fists to catch and hold Spider-Man in mid-air. Particles surround the two. In Panel 3, Red Hulk and Spider-Man are seen shoulder-up, Red Hulk bares his teeth and headbutts him, and the particles are everywhere. Panel 4 has Red Hulk punching Spider-Man, who falls backwards from the impact. A staff is behind Red Hulk, the particles are behind Red Hulk and around Spider-Man. The last panel shows a close-up of the moment when Red Hulk’s fist connected with Spider-Man’s face; both characters are seen shoulders up, speed lines and particles show the intensity of the strike.
The illustration is a Guardians of the Galaxy cover with Groot, Angela, Thing, Rocket, Gamora, Venom, Drax, Starlord, and Kitty Pryde. They are all looking forward. It is described left to right and top to bottom. Groot, hunched and with a neutral facial expression, extended from the top left corner to the middle of the page, almost touching the bottom. The rest of the cast stands in front of him. Thing stands in the bottom left corner looking frustrated; he is in a running position with his left knee bent. Rocket is perched on top of Thing’s left shoulder. To the right and in front of the two is Gamora. She is in a slide lunge holding a spear. Angela is confident, in the center, and is the size of Groot, extending to the top of the page to around the bottom. She is dual-wielding axes that point from the left side of the page to the other, and her left leg is bent up. Drax is to the right of her; he is angry and is in a charged running stance with his left arm bent back, left leg forward, right arm bent forward, right leg hidden by Groot’s left leg. Kitty Pryde is seen from the shoulders up and is obscured by Groot’s left leg and Drax. Behind Drax in the distance is Peter Quill, aka Starlord, hunched forward, his right leg extended, left leg bent, right arm hidden behind Drax, and left arm held out, holding his gun. Above, Drax is Venom in a lunge position; his right hand reaches out in a clawed reach; his left arm extends upward, gripping a rope. It is slightly obscured by Angela’s axe in her left hand.
There are houses with wooden support beams and doors. The roofs are made of straw they have overhangs in the form of rooms or balconies, with bushes over the side of them. The wood and undersides of things and the path are shaded gray. The scene is described left to right. The house on the left side of the illustration is the largest, it has a balcony, and a room, its front door has a heart. A pole extends out horizontally, dangling an ornate lamp. Besides it, there are two other houses that are in the same style without a heart door, which decrease in size. A path from the heart door extends horizontally to the end of the page. There is a well the size of the second house, next to the third house. It has a tile roof and a stone base; the supports are wooden. A small bucket sits beside it. Bushes with flowers adorn the roof and base. Next to it is a house that has 3 rooms that jut off, a balcony, and a pole on the roof that has a heart. Behind houses 2 through 4, there are swirls of wind that extend to the top of the page. There are 3 trees that increase in size, with one hidden beside the final house that has a balcony with open windows and a flower door. Behind parts of houses 4 and 5 are mountains with shaggy tops that stretch to the top of the page. Above house 4 on the mountains is a castle. The castle is sketchy and has waterfalls and is made up of windows, pillars, and cone roofs.
