Serena: Hi my friends I just wanna give an update on the post above I received my hospital bill. Being that Alice and I don't have insurance, it was definitely a giant total. However, the community on here and Bluesky raised Eight Hundred Mother Fucking Dollars for us in just a little over 24 hours, paying a SIGNIFICANT portion of the bill. I was able to pay it off entirely as it was presented to me today because of the contributions Alice and I received. Really I could sit here and go "thank you thank you thank you" and endlessly repeat my gratitude for all of you, but I don't think anything I could ever write could describe how genuinely thankful and wonderfully blessed I am for being a part of a community like this. Being brought into this band, making songs for all of you, being able to talk to and meet so many wonderful critters and then receiving such an overwhelming amount of care and support when I needed it most is something that makes me feel so incredibly lucky and humbled in a way I can't express. For those of you who donated, thank you so very much. This is an experience that has changed my life. If you're here because you like MIDI Bunny or any other of our projects we contribute to, thank you for being here and creating such a wonderful community. You all are so wonderful.
