In high school I debated buying a Commodore 64 vs. an Atari 800XL. I had a friend with two older brothers with real jobs who had ammased a stockpile Atari 800 cartridges/games, so I bought the Atari so I could borrow their games I borrowed Infocom's Hitchiker's Guide the Galaxy from them 2/X
The Hitchhiker's Guide game is still one of the cruelest parser games ever made, in the best way.
