lol … so this is what sleeping in looks like for the next several months 😂 “Maaaaaan! I sprout till eight twenty-FIVE!!!! Crazy!”
Spent the day studying something I’ve never, ever had interest in; that I thought I was bad at … maybe I’m smarter in my old age, but, hooboy, I’m feeling it! This is going to be fun!
I’ve been in a pretty strict “no gurus” (#ManyTeachersNoGurus 😉) mode for quite a long time now, but I recently went down a Craig Ferguson rabbit hole on YouTube, and watched a pod on which he was the guest as opposed to his more familiar role, and found myself with a fleeting thought along the lines of, “please allow me to sit at your feet and soak in all the wisdom you have to give” … it was very brief, but it was there … and then, because it’s Craig, I chuckled like a twelve year old as the Dean from Community sashayed through the thought saying, “this better not awaken anything in me”, and I was back … but, yeah, dude has some solid life experience and has processed that experience in some incredibly insightful ways. I’m going to have to pick up one of his books. Still, NO GURUS! No one has all the answers for your particular set of life experiences, traumas, privileges, etc. If you start thinking they do, well, that would be a red flag, and it’s best not to ignore those … or, yo
