The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit hosted an open house today to show off its office complex's long history, from Dolley Madison's house to women's suffrage movement HQ to NASA's first HQ. I especially loved seeing the NASA artifacts, including Apollo spacesuits and a moon rock.

Mark Kelly displays his NASA spacesuit in a glass case like this in the antechamber of his offices in Hart and it is the biggest fucking flex imaginable

The court offers student group tours but never opens up to the general public, so I couldn't pass up this opportunity, especially when I saw the NASA connection. The other stuff was cool too though. The Dolley Madison reenactor was fun. There were also mock trials and meet-the-judges panels.
