I dunno, they’re both nice!
I like the current profile photo a lot - the new headshot has lovely lighting but it sacrifices a bit of player personality. At profile picture sizes, it'll be more difficult to tell that you have a trombone if you switch, but that might work if you're trying to promote the composer/arranger side.
Both photos got their own pros! This one has a more neutral stance with a bright tone to it. The current one is like "this guy means business."
