I know that Instagram has been used by artists to share their work for years, but noticing the continuous push of profit over people has made me hesitant about using any platform made by Meta and I've been looking for a reason to leave for a hot minute--this was the final straw.

This should not be normalized or ignored. Even with the option to opt-out (which should be implemented by default anyway), I do not feel comfortable using this platform in its current state. ("If something is free, you are the product.")

You can find me on Bluesky, Tumblr and Patreon as I am more active on those sites anyway.
