In August 2025, Roblox Corporation issued a cease-and-desist letter to Schlep, a YouTuber prominent for conducting sting operations against alleged online predators via the platform, which has resulted in multiple arrests. Roblox Corporation's letter stated that the activities of Schlep and other vigilante streamers were a violation of the platform's terms of service and created an unsafe environment for users. Concurrent with the legal notice, Roblox terminated all accounts associated with Schlep and his group, and IP-banned him from the platform.[54][55] This has also prompted multiple Roblox-affiliated content creators of the Roblox Video Stars Program to leave the platform as protest. Following the controversy, Roblox Corporation's stock price fell by over 10%.[56] The company's actions were met with major backlash from many online communities who viewed Schlep's actions as necessary for community policing. The situation escalated significantly days later and included calls for the CEO to resign and a petition by U.S. representative Ro Khanna.[57] On August 15, Schlep said that he aims to counter-sue Roblox and that he had hired lawyers to fight its accusations.[58][59]

From 1988 to 1994, CSIS contracted a private investigator to act as an undercover agent. The agent, Grant Bristow, built relationships with far-right activists and white supremacists involved in the Nationalist Party of Canada, before breaking off with them to form the Heritage Front. US boxer Hannah Rapp, who in June fought for the World Boxing Council women's featherweight championship, was killed on Saturday while she bicycled in Texas after a motorist struck her with his car, according to authorities. Rapp was 26, and investigators arrested a 31-year-old man identified as Charles Medina in connection with her death, the sheriff's office of Brazos county, Texas, said in a statement. The agency said Rapp and a fellow bicyclist were riding on a local road when Medina passed them in his car, stopped, and drove his vehicle in reverse. Medina then hit Rapp, and she was pronounced dead after emergency responders brought her to a hospital. Brazos deputies said they booked Medina on a count of manslaughter, which Texas law defines as recklessly causing a person's death. The sheriff's office did not provide additional details, saying the "isolated" case remained under active and ongoing investigation.

Sizing studies done on the SPR in the 1970s recommended an inventory minimum of 250 million barrels. The reserve can hold up to 727 million barrels. So, if the congressionally mandated minimum is at about 250 million barrels and there are just over 300 million barrels left in the SPR, the U.S. possibly could release 1 million barrels per day for 60 days, or 2 million barrels a day for 30 days, noted Michael Lynch, president of Strategic Energy & Economic Research. “Then what?” Lynch asked. “Trump could ignore the law,” he told MarketWatch — but operationally, going below 250 million barrels can create technical problems. “Trump appears to have trouble parsing the complex nature of the oil market.”

Not eighty per cent. But most likely. So, like, ninety per cent, maybe? Let’s be honest. No one can say if it is seventy per cent or eighty per cent. O.K., but it’s in that ballpark? I can tell you that I speak with people of a very high rank in Israeli defense, and they speak of a seventy- or eighty-per-cent chance to replace the Iranian regime if Trump allows the militias from Iraq to invade Iran. These are Kurdish militias you’re talking about? Not only. Israel can provide them with weapons. This was part of the plan. And then, to our amazement, Trump said the Kurds didn’t want to fight. But, really, Trump is the one who forbade them from fighting, because Erdoğan put pressure on him not to do it. Israel had a brilliant plan and spent a lot of money, and shocked the Iranians in the beginning of the war. But you prevented the militias from acting, and now you ask why the regime didn’t fall. Because you didn’t give us the chance. In Gaza. In Lebanon. In Syria. In Iran. Everything we wanted to do, you prevented us from doing it. If you go to war, and you define the goal of the war, do it. If not, don’t do it. It’s not only that you don’t do it, but you falsely blame the Kurds and the Israelis. And you give in to all the demands of Iran. And they won’t stop. Tomorrow, they might say, If you don’t close the Embassy in Jerusalem, we will close the strait. Then what do you do?
How are you feeling about the emerging deal between the United States and Iran? Totally shook. Totally shook. Unacceptable. Amazing. Nobody understands this. Listen, we have a couple of reasons that Israel and America waged war against Iran. One was to prevent nuclear weapons. One was to prevent the development of missiles that could hit, in the future, not only Israel but also Europe and the United States. What Iran tried to do is encircle Israel with fire, with enemies. So there were a lot of reasons. But why did we go into the war if this is what Trump was going to give Iran? It’s a good question.
