We also use obsidian right now , so it is replicating a version of obsidian into its own database. We created a separate brain system for this learning process. @mikedugan23 but what are you training it to do differently than a large language model can’t do?? What information are you putting into it to build the weights different than out of the box? And you’re saying you have high-end video systems but need a computer to do it but how do you know that it works if you’re not able to test? As far as trading algorithms go… They generally aren’t very successful unless you give it tagged data. You can build a NN or GRU or world model or many diffent things…but if youre trading something like spy and want your LLM to KNOW how to trade your style, you need tagged data. A lot of it… why you’re trading at a certain time without future looking, giving it a bunch of information about why you took the Trade why you did not take the Trade on another day hundreds if not thousands of tagged charts but in numerical format ( unless you have an LLM capable of visual. And how are you getting new market data to your LLM? And once you have the next new candle… is it trading off of that one candle, or are you building a numerical chart file with the indicators you use that auto generate and then feed your chart the entire chart for the day / week whatever time frame you trade to the LLM? 12h1 likeReply @j.campbell_ not reading all that. Training is very important i totally agree .That's exactly what it's doing. We are going to research and copy other systems into a single system. We are doing something very similar with my trading bot , who will learn for the next sixty to ninety days... It would be so stupid to deploy anything without a vast knowledge base. So I agree with everything you were saying and we should definitely talk , because the only thing holding us back is actually the computer systems. 15hReply @gecko.4846700 what we did is basically build the learning system, the LLM will research itself and learn itself , but you are correct in saying it's not fully self taught on everything yet. research is very important. Takes time. But thats its exact design. Research and replication of the most advanced Ai systems.
