A comic showing how bacterium cleans contaminated ground. It reads:

1. This is a pseudomonas teesidea bacterium.

2. The bacterium secretes biosurfactant.

3. Which breaks down oil and other contaminants into a source of energy for its reproduction.

4. When there are many of the bacteria, they use quorum sensing, releasing signal molecules to each other, creating a coordinated response of releasing biosurfactant together.

5. And thus, the toxic ground is cleaned by these mighty little bacteria.
