These are good for heat and cold, come in all different sizes and colors, and have more than one set in the pack. They're pretty durable too!
Not sure how to stay safe from the heat without shelter or water. But I use a tarp at camp that is ventilated. It makes great shade while letting the air flow thru. If they have a space to tie it between some trees, etc. it would be very helpful.
Cooling pads, doggie shoes to protect from hot pavement.
You are so thoughtful. Tents, personal fans, refillable water bottles, blankets, pillows, sleeping bags, can openers, hygiene items that are small, backpacks, and socks.
