Today's pondering: Why is this 'double-S' key on Apple keyboards? Hands up if you use it regularly for it's intended purpose (section mark). Surely a # would be more useful?

"The symbol in the image is the section sign (§), often called the section symbol. It’s commonly used in legal and academic writing to reference sections of documents, statutes, or books (e.g., § 23)."
