Inertia Rails exists because the team (Brandon Shar, Brian Knoles, @skryukov.dev) wanted to use React for a Rails application. They built the adapter and started getting community contributions to make it feel more like a Rails app, even when using JS frameworks. We interviewed them in Nov 2025.
