Claude has now written a memory file for itself to remember... not to add further TLS downgrades? What is going on?

Obviously I need to audit this code. This is a bit of a "shotgun" approach to porting an existing application using AI. The plan is to get something functional, then iterate on safety and quality. This has been, by far, the worst Claude session I've ever had.
