S - fluoress' costume is genuinely perfect just like, having clothes that are traditionally gendered in different ways and very flambuoyant decor and stuff, colorful, it's perfect I wish all pride costumes were like this or had a similar sense of . Pride!!! in themselves!! A - all three have the theme of color very apparent and apply it in very beautiful outfits to me. For the most part this type of very overtly flashy clothing and bright colors is what I think of as like, the pride Thing, its just not executed as thoroughly (or moreso to my personal taste) as Fluoress Boring - these guys are just "lets put a rainbow on it" and like it's cute and not INACCURATE but like cmon gimme smth more!! They are, respectively, the dude who just came out of the closet and the uncle who wants to be supportive but doesn't quite get it, which are definitely part of the experience but not what I'd want to evoke in a pride themed character cosmetic I dont like - not bad by any means on a technical level, just very nonspecific and feel a bit too wrapped up in the superficial aspects they added to pride to fit in the world. I love using stained glass and glowbes as thematic elements, both are very colorful and a good way to incorporate the colors of pride flags and stuff into the world, but I wish these used those motifs in combination with some brighter colors or other clothes that still felt festive in that pride way
