For constructive personality change to occur, it is necessary that these conditions exist and continue over a period of time: 1. Two persons are in psychological contact. 2. The first, whom we shall term the client, is in a state of incongruence, being vulnerable or anxious. 3. The second person, whom we shall term the therapist, is congruent or integrated in the relationship. 4. The therapist experiences unconditional positive regard for the client. 5. The therapist experiences an empathic understanding of the client's internal frame of reference and endeavors to communicate this experience to the client. 6. The communication to the client of the therapist's empathic understanding and unconditional positive regard is to a minimal degree achieved. No other conditions are necessary. If these six conditions exist, and continue over a period of time, this is sufficient. The process of constructive personality change will follow.

This workshop will be run by a BACP registered therapeutic counsellor and experienced Games Master. No experience of TTRPGS is necessary. Learn creative ways to help your clients work on: - Social Thinking & Social Communication - Self Awareness and Identity Development - Emotional Awareness and Regulation - Critical thinking and Problem Solving The guide price for this event is £30.00 paid by bank transfer. Tabletop Therapy Friday 25th July 18:00 - 21:00 GMT Online via Zoom - This will be a tabletop roleplaying game session run by a BACP registered therapeutic counsellor. - This is an opportunity for personal development while also engaging in a sociable hobby. - Clients will be encouraged to therapeutically explore aspects of self. - Evidence based approach to the use of TTRPGs as a theraputic tool. - A range of a safety tools will be in use - This session will be therapeutic but is not intended as a substitute for therapy. - This session will particularly benefit those who want to put skills gained in therapy into practice in a safe, structured environment.
