This is a fun one; in Horimiya's world at least, there ARE ghosts and youkai, and in fact, she's been sent to deal with them at least once, given how her staff can damage the spectral… she feels quite bad about it. But since some spirits chose to cause trouble instead, she sort of has to.
Follow up question: Would your OC play with a Ouiji board?
Oh, Shenorai and Ashiru hail from a village of shamans. Traditionally, alongside the typical expectations of priesthood towards the living, Ashiru has been trained to guide spirits to The Other Side, so they can go through the world cycle and be reborn elsewhere. Shen literally lives with a spirit.
I can't answer this for Kattabolt for [redacted] reasons, but with Kibble, since we use them as NPCs in our CoC game where ghosts are definitely real: Kittens: 'hates' it but will ghost hunt for money and glory Bull: is privately giddy because he reads pulp magazines, so he's excited #OC
Tabby would believe wholeheartedly regardless of proof and she'd 100% want to go hunt a ghost! Though she'd drag Gwynn along with her because she'd be so spooked 😆 There's spirits in their world, but Gwynn'd prefer to leave them alone. Without proof though, he wouldn't believe in them at all >>
There's soul mechanics in their world, so I have to think ghosts and malicious spirits exist too. The boys are fine with ghosts unless they try some possession BS and then it will be exorcism time in a 50 mile radius. They would absolutely go ghost hunting and it would be adorable and hilarious.
Wisp’s experiences with ghosts have been no different than if they were normal people. Another weird plane of existence. Just sometimes they do spooky jumpscares that make her scream “CUT THAT OUT”
Oh that's an easy one: ghosts are undead, undead are an abomination that must be purged. Enters Lyranari with a silver chair- errr probably rather silver-tipped arrows. (I oversimplify, she'd probably first try to figure out if they're friendly or evil)
