EMAIL: I'm a supporter of MinnPost, but after seeing a community commentary today, I'm considering revoking my support. First, please understand that I'm the gal with the MinnPost water bottle that likes to wave it around in Zoom meetings. I promote your site all the time with friends and clients. And this post made me so angry that I'm willing to revoke that support. It was "Big Pharma is not telling you about a new breakthrough in treating people with ADHD." How DARE MinnPost publish this outrageously under-researched, snake-oil content that preys on neurodivergent people? I do not care that the contributor is a high school student; in fact, it makes me MORE angry that no one on your staff could be bothered to point out the multiple problems this piece had in terms of reliable science journalism. You should remove the post immediately, and then help this kid figure out how to write in a way that doesn't evoke the worst parts of the conspiracy-laden Internet. Do better…
