Treat side characters like stolen cars Think of it like this: between “make each main character’s life not boring” and “keep the story feral”, half of your agenda in this game is to make exciting, messy choices and see what happens next. Your side characters are part of that equation. Treat them like stolen cars on a joyride. You control them for the present moment, but it’s not like you get to keep them when the night’s over. Play them recklessly, and abandon them when they’re dead weight. You don’t necessarily need to kill your darlings, but you do need to accept that they are precarious, auxiliary, and yes, killable. Beyond just accepting it, revel in it.

## Fae.exe Curio(u)s Collection 2026 # What is this This is my version of the “monthly game releases” thing. (& Game adjacent creations.) I call what I make curios, because I hope at least, you’ll find them interesting, if not good. Every curio in this schedule is already completed, and was made in 2025 or earlier. This means no crunch, no stress, no delays. It also means that what you see here is what you get. I want to keep releasing monthly stuff for as long as I can. The only thing I’ll say is this: Throughout 2026, I will work on new curios. Everything that feels done releases in 2027. (This includes updates to the 2026 curios.) Cards + guilds concern resources and have very low details and gradient fills. Types of cards are usually denoted by their colors (which is not necessarily best practice, you always want some shape signifiers alongside color signifiers, but at least the diff colors have strong value differences so they can be told apart even in black and white)
