The Full Wolf Moon takes up most of the frame, with the exception of a small red dot just above it. This is the planet Mars, shortly after reappearing from behind the moon. This is known as an occultation. Zooming in, Mars has some vaguely resolved details such as darker regions of soil and polar ice caps. And yes, the moon is out of focus. Don’t mention it.

mighty Titan is backlit by the sun, causing light to be dispersed around the back of the moon and creating a ring of light that is strongly visible. Saturn’s rings take the foreground, crossing almost directly in front of Titan. On the moon’s lower right limb, Enceladus glows lightly.
In this render, the sun rises over the Earth from a relatively high orbit point of view. The sunlight reflects reddish off the ocean and the terminator can be seen very clearly. Center right, the moon makes an appearance as a very thin crescent.

April 8 2024’s Eclipse just at totality start leaves a bright shining “diamond” at the northern limb of the moon, with the solar corona revealing itself all around, as well as some prominences around the limb.
April 8 2024’s total solar eclipse shines brightly through my telescope. Some prominences are visible, but the first bit of sunlight on third contact overtakes most of it.
A total solar eclipse renders the solar corona visible to the naked eye. A solar prominence shines brilliantly on the bottom left solar limb.
The sun through a white light filter on April 8, 2024 reveals some sunspots dotted across the surface, as well as a small bite taken out of the bottom left corner, which is actually the moon beginning to cover the sun’s disk in preparation for a total solar eclipse.

As the images flip back and forth, the general shape of the nebula remains the same, but some of the filaments within it seem to “vanish”, which shows the power of using narrowband filters to isolate wavelengths and help see through objects that might otherwise obstruct our view.
The North American Nebula and the Cygnus Wall glow brilliantly against a backdrop of dust and stars in a bright red and light blue hue.

The Orion Nebula shines magnificently in false color, with Hydrogen-alpha being represented by Reds, and Oiii being represented by Greens. Blues here are represented as a 50/50 mix of the two. The center core is blown out due to the sheer brightness and exposure length needed to get detail in the darker regions.

December 2023’s “cold moon” shines full in the sky against a backdrop of stars.
The horsehead and flame nebulae shine brightly in vibrant red and orange, respectively. Stars dot the scene in a bluish hue, reminiscent of the faulty processing between Ha and RGB channels.
The moon shines brilliantly through a thin layer of high level clouds, refracting light and creating a circular rainbow around it.

Details in the moon from my image ‘pink moonrise’.
The nearly full moon rises over sunset lit clouds which glow a brilliant bright pink. The sky is a much lighter blue than normal, due to the same sunset conditions that color the clouds. The moon has incredible detail, but because of the size of the image a low resolution version had to be used for this post.
