France and his bandmates were honored to hear Vessel’s stripped-back take on their song. ‘Vessel has always been a really big Loathe supporter and likewise with us being big Sleep Token supporters,” France explains. ‘We kind of view music in the same way. There was a time in the past where he did a piano cover of our song White Hot. He randomly sent us it at one point and we were just blown away by it. And I guess [Sleep Token’s version of] Is It Really You? is an extension of that. ‘One time we went to go see them - this is before [I Let It in and It Took Everything] had even be released - and Vessel started to play the intro to Is It Really You? in their set. We were like ‘Yo, no way!’ We had sent him that song before it had been released. That tune really touched him so it made sense for him to do a cover of it.’”

Such restrictions do not apply to Wikipedia, because Wikipedia is not a member of those organizations; thus, Wikipedia will not remove such information from articles if it is otherwise encyclopedic." This applies to all such situations(The Mousetrap, where viewers are asked to not reveal the ending, and P.E.O. [Not me] Just four points in reply. I think these points have been made before on this page. • ASCAP records songwriters, not band members. They are likely the same, but we cannot say they are. • The main responsibility Wikipedia has is to reflect what reliable sources say. If there are no reliable sources that name the band members, then Wikipedia cannot. • Wikipedia has no policy or guideline about otherwise playing along with marketing gimmicks. • Wikipedia is not censored about anything, it does not contain spoiler warnings. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 07:28, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
Sleep Token are/is a band that wants to stay anonymous. I've read the past talk threads but no one has suggested a solution. Someone posted the ASCAP source in the Sundowning album article. It is a credible source that lists the real names of either one or both main members of the band. Would it be appropriate to write some sort of footnote that basically says "this source contains real names, so don't read if you do not want to be spoiled"? Or should another source be used altogether? Furthermore, does Wikipedia have a responsibility to bands (and fans) to respect their wishes if their real names don't want to be publicized?
