Rails deprecated secrets.yml. Encrypted credentials.yml.enc can live in git safely with the master key kept out of the repo. Gotcha: credentials are plain YAML, no ERB, so swap env interpolation for real values. go.fastruby.io/bzu #RubyOnRails
