Fine green tendrils of moss are sprouting and growing upward against the inner panels of the bus windows. Condensation droplets from inside the glass provides the moss some water, and light during the day gives them incentive to produce very tiny green leaves. Cracks in the black rubber foam provide a grooved surface similar to tree bark, which is the usual environment moss grows on.

In this horrible future, data centers sprawl all over the landscape with smoke stacks pumping dark clouds of pollution into the air, blanketing the cities of the world in a gloomy twilight darkness year round, choking the air for the poor, and clean air is a luxury. Working class folks struggle to breathe with gas masks and respirators, while the rich live in luxury "biosphere condos" that mimic the pristine garden of Eden lush jungle conditions. If the rich people ever dare to venture out on the streets on foot, they are decked out in tall, high tech-organic hybrid fashions complete with tall, dinosaur alien feet-like high platform boots to avoid tripping on the detritus of broken service robot parts littering the streets, (and to tower over the poor appearing much taller than they naturally are as an intimidation factor.) Their faces are shrouded inside of beach-ball-esque air-helmets packed with pollution filters at the top of the hat-like area, and moist oxygen generating green algae patterned "cheek-pads" on the back and sides of the bio-helmets. This makes the helmets look like flowers or mushrooms to accentuate the size of rich people's heads in their entire silhouette. The bigger the oxygen helmet, the higher the social status, you see. 😅To supplement additional oxygen, some helmet-clothing variants come with draping noodle-cape-like appendages filled with supplemental algal water that can produce oxygen in low light. However I'm sure other versions of the outfits could come equipped with grow lights for the algae as part of the overall design, so you wouldn't have to worry about the dim sooty outdoor conditions to breathe.

A horrible short white haired twink with large round glaring black and mint green eyes, spiky lower lashes and pointy white teeth grins like a Labubu monster toy. He is dressed in black skinny jeans and boots and a black winter coat with black horn buttons and fluffy grayish teal trim at the hem , collar and sleeves at peacoat length, tailored almost like a winter dressy coat. He also wears a fishnet shirt and black plain choker and a black diamond earring. He is also wearing grayish mint green bunny-like ears made of the same fluffy green fleece on the coat. .. Off to the left side of the drawing are the words "Fran bein a Labubu" and some notes about the baby formula social experiment that women in the US and UK were calling churches and mosques for in November. I noted in my journal that mosques were able to oblige with helping a hypothetical starving 2 month old more often than most American or British rich megachurches, while a couple smaller churches including one in Appalachia was willing to help out.
Pages 118 and 119 of the graphic novel Lucky Penny by Ananth Hirsch and Yuko Ota. The character Walter, who Penny has been dating, notices his car rolled into the lake and the towing company called him to retrieve it. He jumps into the lake in shock and grief eating after it. On the next page, Penny recounts that her critical fail role of a 1 on a D20 when she played dungeons and dragons with him and his younger siblings and friends the other day, and fashioned into a charm necklace with string and a paperclip, was hanging in his rearview mirror. She gave it to Walter "for luck" but realizes that because it was an unlucky role, that she feels as though she has cursed Walter's car with misfortune. Her eyes widen with guilt as she smokes her cigarette.

I thought it was darkly comedic that a book about Trump was put on the shelf right next to a book about Hitler's final days, even back in early 2016.

It would be amusing to get suburban people and urban people to unite on something for once. Or jobs would alternatively just let people who live in the deep exurbs WORK FROM HOME instead of forcing people into the office and therefore into traffic when it's not necessary, which eats up people's life force and waking hours.

I am flabbergasted to learn that these are made in Germany, despite the Mexico candy design vibes. The back of the raspberry popcorn flavor packet says "made in Germany by August storck USA L.P. Source: Washington Post The difference between how black women voted (92% for Kamala) and how white women voted (52% for Trump) is stark and unfortunate. Black men also voted 78% for Kamala. White men voted 59% Trump. What is also unfortunate is the divide between Latino men (54% Trump) and Latino women, (61% Kamala). I'm figure most of those women did not want to risk themselves or loved ones getting rounded up by ICE without due process, as is happening today. The last bar is "all other races" presumably including Asian, Pacific islander, indigenous Americans, Indian/Pakistani/South Asian Americans, and Arab/Middle Eastern Americans, often considered "too small" of a voting block to break down into specific groups, and they just collected data that says 50% Kamala, 5% other, (possibly third partiers) and 45% Trump.
