Might not be a problem when voluntarily dismissing all claims against one of multiple defendants. At least some courts have read an exception into Rule 41 that allows those dismissals.

Yeah, we see that a lot in the NDIL. It's troubling when plaintiffs file mass claims against dozens, if not hundreds, of defendants, then dismiss any defendant who tries to tell the judge about problems with the plaintiff's claims.
