A video of a stem and label plot of order quantities by state in 2023 and 2024, made in Tableau. This chart has been made by Deborah Simmonds, replicating the Workout Wednesday tableau challenge for week 52. This chart uses the first digit of the order quantities as the "stem" in the middle of the chart running sequentially from top to bottom. The "leaves" are the rest of the digits after the stem, fixed to each state, with data from 2023 on the left of the stem, and data from 2024 on the right. This challenge was set by Yusuke Nakanishi who described the view as "For example, if you have the number 43, the stem would be 4, and the leaf would be 3. If your data includes the numbers 21, 23, 25, the stem would be 2, and the leaves would be 1, 3, 5."

The filter options are created in 2 ways, firstly as 2 separate filters for West or Other, with a second filter for the other regions only showing when other is selected. The second view uses radio buttons of all regions, with solid buttons showing if the region is selected, and an outline of the buttons if not.

Video showing 2 versions of a Christmas tree image made using Tableau software. The first one follows the guidance and uses 9 sheet, 1 blank object, containers and lots of padding. The second version is made on 1 sheet using trellis calculations. When the user hovers over the first version only the baubles on the tree are highlighted as they are the only objects. This video shows a scatterplot of life expectancy by Co2 Cap Cons by country. As the user hovers over a country a vertical and horizontal reference band appear with the selected country at the intersection of both. Other countries that appear within the reference bands are coloured dark blue, and ones that lie outside of the bands are light blue. A vertical bar chart on the right of the dashboard shows 2 columns of countries, those within the bands and those without. 2 adjacent bar charts show are below the scatterplot. These show the measures of the selected country against the average of all the other countries. There is a magnifying glass icon to the right of the dashboard title. When the user clicks this icon an overlay appears with instructions on how to interact with the dashboard.
