We were disgusted at your capitulation in the face of lawfare and bullying. As a trans woman that has done community work as an advocate and provided support for vulnerable people, we know it is absolutely vital that we are well informed and reliable. Your naivety and lack of awareness of consequences has led to vulnerable trans people being open to further harm. Big organisations like you that suck up funding and seek to be lauded in the media, while hanging out vulnerable people to dry are disgusting. If you were prepared to publish, you should be prepared to stand by it. Your cowardice shows your organisation is a hollow sham, for sale to anyone with enough cash who wants to buy your compliance. This harm you have done, which will play out in the media in the coming days, and leave us greater targets is all on you. Leave the fight for rights to people on the ground who have actual principles and are prepared to stand by them.
