The original Star Fox designs from 1993 for the SNES were semi-realistic puppets made to evoke the show Thunderbirds. People are angry that the new 2026 Star Fox designs are more realistic instead of cartoony but consider: 1) they are going back to the series' roots and pulling from its original DNA, and 2) nothing in Star Fox has ever been as ugly as the designs from Star Fox: Command. Go back and look at all of the art from Command and look at the new guys again. I'm not joking. Do it.
