Five Goblins is the dream of potter, Rennie, and LARPer Nicole Caruso. She makes every day art for everyday life.

Standard 153 clay body, fired to cone 10 in gas reduction. Bottom glaze is a a studio Temmoku, top glaze is studio Hannah's Buttermilk.

Yellow shelf mushrooms have been sculpted to catch and direct the falling water. A red-glazed snail is the final sculptural element. Twelve reproductions of the Gotland cup thrown in four color agateware. The insides and handles of the cups are glazed colorfully, while the outsides of the cups are left unglazed to highlight the depth of color of the natural fired clay.
Wheel-thrown cone 10 stoneware carved vase, glazed in blue rutile over warm brown clay, and about 11" tall. There are oval gestural carvings of leaves around the top 4" that pierce through the walls of the vase, and long white driplines extend from the bottom of each leaf where the carvings have channeled the molten glaze's flow.

A handmade teaset sitting on a wooden crate. It is made of black stoneware clay. Dripping fire designs are carved into the clay, and a rich red-orange glaze contrasts the flames with the raw black clay of the negative space. The teapot has a long elephant trunk spout and a tall domed lid with a sculpted flame knob. There are four matching teacups, also with carved and glazed flame designs.
