Art of two Shiny Pikachu's looking at eachother curiously. The one on the left, labelled "Z-A colours", has the desaturated colour palette as seen in modern games, and has standard star-shaped shiny sparkles.
The one on the right, labelled "my interpretation of colours", is my take on the Shiny by giving it a more appealing palette without outright changing it entirely, mostly by making it more orange with maroon cheeks. It has lined square-shaped sparkles instead, based on the rarer shiny sparkle from Sword & Shield.

god this took a while but MAN im proud with how this turned out. really tried reworking how i shade stuff, and while i think i can improve it more later, i do still think i cooked hard with it here. also acts as another try at drawing the new style of nova i've sketched before, i think im locking that in now, at least until i make a new ref for him.

He's seen charging forward from afar on his tail, with electricity sparking out of his cheeks in a 'whisker' shape, all while having a joyful expression on his face. A trail is left behind him sporting the full AroAce flag colours, as is his cheek bolts, and Nova himself is sporting the colour scheme over his usual palette.

i got the idea for this while working on those restyle sketches earlier, by slapping on the aroace colours on him on a whim. it went hard. thus, this art. first proper try with lineless too, i did smth similar before in a single colour, but this time i tried it properly, in a sense. i think it went nicely, though i was struggling on how to make the background fit with him given the limited colours.
note: still not entirely sure how i feel on being aro, but im still plenty ace, so im content with the aroace umbrella for now. but nova however? canonically aroace WOOOOOO

Coloured sketch of Nova, taking on the Z-SurgeSurfer state I've drawn before. He's seen bracing himself with an angry expression while standing on his tail (in a non-canon/timeskip scenario), with tufts of his fur flaring up as large bolt-shaped 'whiskers' are formed from his cheeks, and his eyes are glowing a light teal colour matching the bolts.

Coloured Sketch of Nova, next to his (at the moment) current Reference Sheet art. Shows a refreshed take on how I draw him, with the notable changes being:
- revised how his cheek tufts are shaped, trying to make them less tacked on and more like something part of his head. mostly done by shrinking the lower tuft
- made his electric sacs on his cheeks smaller (something i edited onto the ref sheet art beforehand but never posted). thought i made em way too big before
- revised how his neck tuft is shaped, to look better in general and so i dont have to keep shrinking his stomach fur (it now sort of parts into the tuft)
- heavily revised how i draw his body, mostly his legs. now he stands flat on his feet like an actual raichu, and has a shorter stature overall. the way i drew em before was more of a force of habit from always drawing quadruped pokemon.

note that any colour differences like the eyes and paw lines, plus the lack of armband, is because this is a rough sketch i quickly coloured with the fill bucket lol. i'd do it proper if i make it for a real ref sheet.

Alternate version of the above artwork, edited to now show Pikachu's Shiny/Choice Band costume from Smash for Wii U/3DS, which sadly got cut in the jump to Ultimate to make room for the 2 new alts in that game. The background is changed to match the game, showing the Player 7 colours, his stock icon and the variation of Battlefield all from Smash 4 instead.

had the idea of using static's mew design as a sort of april fools mascot given how i handle him- and i extended that to nova as well...... cant say i'll draw em much outside of it but i still had fun designing nova's mew form

once again continuing this small jolteon duo i drew for 2023 and 2025- i like the idea of standard jolt being playful with shiny jolt to their dismay so im prob gonna continue using these two for future jolteon days

for context if anyone hasnt played and shiny hunted in Z-A, shinies actually stay "permanently" (up to a point) until you catch it, let it faint or scare it off if possible. This Shiny Eevee spawned when the player was nearby, and they do not know. he is stuck waiting in Wild Zone 19 until the player does something about it.

Simpler artwork of Nova and Static, celebrating.. somebody's birthday. Nova is eating a stack of pancakes (coming from the pic i did in 2024), holding the fork with a piece up a little bit as he looks upwards. The paw holding the fork has Psychic energy around it, as he's holding up a worried Static and a party hat, with Static frantically trying to reach down towards the 'birthday cake'. A blown out, slightly melted candle sits on the table near the pancake stack.

Standalone fullbody artwork of Super Sonic, in his Riders series outfit with the matching Riders 1 Artstyle. Hes calmly floating with one knee up slightly, looking at the camera with a confident smirk, one arm pumped to his waist in a fist and the other reaching out while open. The background is styled after the general Riders 1 menu aesthetic to match, with his name vertically on both sides.

the pose i went with here is loosely on the riders super sonic's render from sonic speed simulator, which came out recently. thought what that pose was going for felt pretty fitting for a riders style piece, so i ran with it. as sonic art im proud with how the face turned out this time, but as a riders style art i think i overdid the silhouetted parts a bit.

i had the urge recently to draw eevee and since i had an obligatory seasonal pic to do, i made it a flashback piece...... was a fun chance to draw pikanova again

vaporeon is the pokemon that if i have to draw again i will scream. the rest were fun though, had a vision on what i wanted this art to look like a week ago and i managed to create it just as i wanted!!!!

wanted to draw mega greninja for a while, and was ABOUT to, then bam! they reveal mega zeraora! which i also love! so i shoved them into one big battle artpiece, at the recommendation of my friend
because of that, i soon realised that this is a seriously unfortunate battle. one plasma fists and greninja is finished im so sorry pal 🙏

Artwork of Nova, mega evolved into a Mega Raichu X. He's shown jumping through the air with teal sparks of electricity trailing off him, with a faint rainbow glow of Mega Energy around him. The background is a dark, cloudy thunderstorm, with a large bolt of lightning crackling down (though he mostly covers it up, whoops). Prism Tower is seen in the corner behind his tail. Don't think about the worldbuilding implications of it being seen with Nova. He's not meant to be there.

little design fun facts: of course, like usual mega raichu X, nova uses his pikachu colours. sorta. i did tweak the blue as well as his stomach patch's grey to more closely resemble his usual raichu colours, but otherwise the tone of dark grey and black his fur has is taken from his pikachu design. i also chose to make his eyes a sort of reddish purple, to mix his usual blurple eyes with mega-X's red.

Small art icon of Nova, once again Mimikyu'd. Due to the crop, his disguise head mostly takes up the space, with his real eyes peeking at the bottom. He's leaning to the side a bit as he brings his claw(?) up beside him.

the main reason i went back and tweaked this was that the original source file for this art was an unfinished version, as i lost the complete one on my old computer that died. figured it was worth updating tho bc i love how i drew the little guy.......
