It has been a few days and I'm happy that Default is moving back to what it was before. A light mode for those who found the changes useful should be considered but overall I'm glad to be able to read the texts again without having to force myself to focus.

The new update hurts my eyes, would love it if there was a legacy feature or a 'new' ui that just reused/mimicked the old icons/fonts/colors/sizes. I'm gonna have to take a break from the site until at least the text doesn't bother my eyes. This update makes it hard for me to process the site.

i think you guys should consider rolling this update back until you have had time to finish it and implement the actual accessibility options folks need.

this hurts my eyes too. it really really feels like this was just pushed out half-done and anyone who cant tolerate it is just... donezo? I understand bug fixes but this cannot be the final product. this is the tumblr ui change of FR.

respectively, you can hit the undo button, right? even with me looking forward to a darkmode, the site is now nauseating to use, when before the lightmode was only a slight bother, and its been giving friends who dont even struggle with eyestrain trouble visually 😭
