Five years ago today, I was diagnosed with melanoma

I've had two major surgeries, radiotherapy, and two years of systemic treatment. Last year, it spread to my brain and other scary places. It's now eradicated from there and mostly gone elsewhere. Another year of treatment left

A decade earlier, I would have had 6 months to live. I am now living proof that shows the success of modern cancer treatments. Trust your doctors and support scientists
