A Soviet break-action pistol that fires two cartridges, the cartridges are 7.62x39mm and contained in a clip. If I remember correctly, they use a piston system so that the bullets are fired quietly and at low velocity, but the 7.62x39 bullet would confuse any attempts to find a culprit as it's a damn rifle cartridge bullet.
