Billy Strings - Brongly Billy Base responds Today at 9:44 AM Billy Base Sorry for any hate floating around. Please no one respond that way or spread any negativity on my behalf. BillyBase has nothing to do with the work I did with the band. I created the site in 2021 and have funded 100% of it since that time. Once it reached the point where I could not foot the monthly bills or keep improving the site (I am a high school English teacher w/ a fam) I gave Team Billy the choice to buy it. That fell through and I shut it down because I ran out of funding/resources. Any speculation that resulted from the site going down is out of my control; my lawyer said, just be quiet. Then a fan came to me and had a great idea for the future of BillyBase. He sees what I have always seen and I am excited. He made a fair offer. His name is Andy and he will introduce himself soon. I am helping the transition and teaching the new team the ropes. Sorry for the hiccup but most cool things aren't free... but I chose to pay for everything and put in countless hours by my own volition--so Billy and the fanbase could have a free, customized site that is always improving. And now, Andy aims to carry on that same tradition. Onward and upward.
