So at this point I’m stumped. Can’t tell if there’s a legit silicon reason why TB4 can’t do it, or if it’s just a “match device ID” thing in the software that says 5 only. Thunderbolt basically is all DMA at some level. Hrrm. Any ideas uncle @jeffgeerling.com?
