Who stands unaware of where he falls short.
And still Enamored Earth doth not dare let go,
Alone indulged in this quid pro quo woe,
He begs Celeste for her judgement in court.
Entitled to eclipse’s cyclic retort.
Or so believes the Earth going fallow

But is not the moon, she who calms his floods,
With all the love a vine has for its buds?
Is it not the sun who blesses his soils;
And lets him indulge in her endless spoils?

Alas, Earth is blind, to their smaller loves.
For this faux sorrow is his only dove."

She was never there all at once

One day her hair
Wisped like clouds past my windowsill,
Whispering my name.

One day her eyes
Shone brighter than suns,
In a sea of darkness.

One day I think
I could bear feathers and fly
To kiss the sky and see if she blushes.

One day I thought
I could go back in time
To see once more—
Those brilliant eyes
