Hang Tuah, a Malay warrior and admiral who purportedly lived and served the Malaccan Sultanate under Sultan Mansur Shah in the 15th century, looks confused. The subtitle/caption, in Malay, states *keliru dalam lingua franca*, which is Malay for "[to be] confused in lingua franca" Hang Tuah serves as a national symbol for the ethnicity of Malays - and by extension in the modern multicultural/multiethnic state of Malaysia. His historicity is thus debated, but his mythos looms large.

The Leeds wonky wolf - a mosaic from the Roman Aldborough (Isurium Brigantum) site in York, collaged as a terrible T-Shirt graphic. The subject, supposedly the she-wolf who fed Romulus and Remus, stares at you, with her charges suckling her underneath. The stare she levels indicates that the Romans have had interactions with the queer icon Babadook - for the eyes are just spherical, with a U shaped nose in between. She smiles a smile of teeth. It is also made worse because she has an equine body. If this isn't horrific enough already, the entire mosaic of her and her twins is superimposed on a background hyperrealistic Luna and the stars. Done so in a manner that depicts the true cosmic eldritch horror that would terrify H.P. Lovecraft. That's a bit of a low bar, though, Lovecraft was terrified of mathematics, air conditioning, POCs, and being a well-adjusted respectful person. That aside, you swear you can see the stars glistening through the she-wolf as she regards you....toothily. If you wear this on a t-shirt she will stare out for you.
